How long should hair be before waxing?
About a quarter inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. That’s usually two to three weeks of growth after shaving. Shorter hair is hard for the wax to grip, and very long hair may be trimmed first.
What should I avoid after waxing?
For a day or two, skip hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, pools, tanning and hard workouts, and avoid tight clothing and fragranced products on the area. A few days later, gentle exfoliation helps prevent ingrown hairs.
